Calligraphy story of Jeju blind whale DESIGN QUEEN(김소연)
When we first found the spot, the inside was already demolished. I wanted to embody the feel of a rough stone house and the feeling of a whale-like roof on the back of the sea.
I took a brush on more than 100 sheets of paper and painted a whale, but I felt that the artificial feeling was strong.
I spent a week trying to figure out what to think about whales and drawing them as a whale. I imagined that feeling and went to write down the text, but as I was compensating for my efforts, "Blind Whale" was completed.
Blind whales show a new interpretation of Jeju Island to those who have left their daily lives.
